Jump Start Initiative is a new community interest company based in Worthing. Jump Start uses a diverse array of media services, skills sharing and funding support to empower local businesses and community organisations. Jump Start's aim is to help create an environment where local businesses, community organisations, creative people, entrepreneurs and others in the local community can work together.
The Jump Start Initiative is a community investment company (CIC) based in Worthing, West Sussex with expertise that includes design for print, web site design and development, online marketing, sound design, illustration, photography, film, journalism and brand development.
We use our diverse expertise to provide communications and media support to new start-up businesses, community groups, established businesses and young people involved in creative activities.
As well as providing web and print design services, we also provide training, mentoring for new start-ups and young creatives, project and event management, film and video production and other types of documentation such as event coverage and case studies.
Our profits are reinvested into the community, to local community groups and charities. This could be by providing our services at no cost, giving funding to a project, or putting on events to support these groups. We also support new-start ups and local business by putting on networking events, running courses and seminars, and helping find suitable funding.
